Join us for an uplifting and deeply meaningful workshop featuring Former Wisconsin Governor Martin J. Schreiber, an award‑winning champion for Alzheimer’s caregivers. With honesty, humor, and heartfelt compassion, Marty shares the hard‑earned insights he gained while caring for his wife, Elaine, for more than a decade. Since 2017, he has spoken at over 400 events nationwide, offering wisdom and encouragement to family caregivers, healthcare professionals, students, community leaders, and library audiences.
Attendees will also have the chance to purchase his book, My Two Elaines: Learning, Coping, and Surviving as an Alzheimer’s Caregiver, and have it personally signed.
This free workshop is open to all and proudly sponsored by the GFWC Woman’s Club of Pewaukee. Family caregivers will walk away with practical strategies, emotional support, and valuable community resources.
Enjoy these complimentary offerings:
• Refreshments by Dovetail Advocacy for Older Adults
